Sneaky Peak Time!

Even though I have been feeling a bit under the weather I always feel totally super terrible if I don't at least accomplish one or two things...or like 50 in typical Steph fashion. Needless to say I was busy in the print shop designing some cute things!

Here is a little preview of prints to come!

Oh all things a Simon & Garfunkel song inspire me for the above!
Makes you even more curious now huh?

It is no secret that I am addicted to Wawa (a gas/deli station) latte
drinks. It might go beyond addicted though...

Thanks for tuning in and have a most lovely of Mondays!

My friends this has been a week I am afraid. A week where all I wanted to do was lay under some warm blankets sip some hot tea and not come out. You see, on Wednesday, Crohn's Disease came to visit and he seems not to want to leave. Oh, yes, I have given him many hints but he is a very persistent kind of guest. So until he leaves, and the sooner the better, I give you some good old holiday cheer in the form of some pictures I took around my Philadelphia neighborhood to tide you over.

Thank you for being overwhelmingly understanding and I hope all of this weekend has treated you well!

Holiday Craftyness

What you Need:
 1. Red or green felt
2. Pearl beads
3. Scissors
5. Hot glue/hot glue gun
5. Old necklace chain

(I used the dress that I am going to wear for my holiday party & traced the collar)

(I laid out all my beads and then started gluing like a mad woman!)

(I stabbed little holes in my felt ad attached an old necklace chain I had in my crafty box!)

(Huzzah!....done & enjoy!)

Taking a Breath Today

I had to take a deep breath today. A long life is going to be okay go with the flow ok really take another one if you must kind of breath. Really Stephanie?

Why? I am getting myself overwhelmed early with starting a crafty business. You heard me, it has not even been a week and I have my panties all in a knot because I have not made one single sale and, of course, there are not enough hours in the day to post my pretty things in every craft outlet on the face of the internets. SO many things to learn and do and…oh my word, this brain of mine is super evil isn’t it?

My heart knows it takes time and I have to keep reminding myself to follow my heart. It takes time to grab you lovelies and make you stay with me for the long haul. It takes time to learn how to promote and where to promote all my crafty little things. It most certainly takes a lot patience to wait for all of those things to build up and turn into a giant loving crafty business.

I am going to follow the advice of one of my prints and settle down with a nice steamy cup of tea tonight. I am going to look at myself in a mirror, smile, and be proud that I am starting this new wonderful journey. Most importantly I am going to start having fun with this new chapter and challenge in my life.

Thank you for reading  and here is a sneaky peak of the little room that houses all the creativity bursting from this little crafter! Just like me, it is a work in progress.

This Weekend

It is amazing to sit with family and to hear their laughter.
To share the same funny stories.
To relive the same wonderful traditions.

To be able to find the beauty in life amidst the storm.
(my parents lost a lot in hurricane Sandy)

...and to start new traditions and laughter with new family members.

I hope everyone just as wonderful a weekend as I did!
I am thankful to have my family, my friends, my husband, and my adorable pets this year!

Holiday art rush is a GOOD way to say HELLO!

Welcome to this crazy tiny little crafty end of my universe! Just dropping in to start things off (hello!) and to give a little preview of the new prints that are going up in my shop. I have been sitting at the computer feverishly drawing out these delectable little prints. Many lattes and pieces of pumpkin pie later and I think I got a good rhythm going here!

Trying to push out some creativity while my tummy is full of Thanksgiving goodness was probably not the BEST idea ever. I think I might have to roll myself out into a food coma! (wow...)
